This workshop will be held at The Roost in Underhill, Vermont. A beautiful Ayurvedic Yoga and Retreat center.
Spring is a perfect time to kick start our health after a long, cold winter and nature provides us with many of the tools we need to holistically increase our energy and vitality at this time of year.
-Discover which types of herbs are most beneficial to invigorate sluggish body systems and which ones may even be growing in your back yard. Discuss herbs like Violet, Dandelion, Nettle and more and how to create gently detoxifying herbal infusions with them.
-Explore herbal allies for liver and digestive support and how they can boost metabolism, increase energy and help you accomplish diet and wellness goals.
-Learn how to identify and prepare herbs whether as a supplement to your diet or health program or as part of a spring cleanse or detox.
-Go home with recipes and ideas of how to incorporate herbs into your life. Handouts will be provided.
-At the end of class you will have the option to join a guided group Spring Cleanse online if you'd like to put your new knowledge to work!
Bring a notebook and pen for note taking. Handouts provided.
Herbal tea will be available.
$25 per person. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
