Who is this class for?
This class is wonderful for foodies, budding chefs, beginning herbalists or experienced herb folk looking to broaden their relationship to plants and medicine making! This is an adults only class.
Location and parking details:
This is a private residence and my home in Underhill, Vermont. Exact address and directions will be sent at time of registration. I have ample parking in the driveway. We live on a private, dirt road that will be plowed but that can be icy in the winter. 4 wheel drive vehicles are recommended!
What do I need to bring?
A notebook and pen for note taking. Tupperware or a container for transporting leftovers of herbal dishes (if there are any!). I will occasionally ask students to bring extra kitchen supplies if we have a large group (ie a cutting board or a kitchen knife) but most supplies and ingredients will be provided!
Tuition:
The cost of the full course is $475 which includes all materials.
Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 7 people. Minimum of 5 needed for class to run. An early bird discount of 10% off tuition is available for any student paying in full before December 1st 2024. A split payment plan is available, please email me at bohemebotanika@gmail.com to discuss.
Other important information:
Classes are held in my private home which I share with two cuddly cats so those with allergies beware!
Food allergies and restrictions should be divulged before registration. Accommodations and precautions will be made when possible but because this is my own home, I am not able to accommodate those with severe food allergies at this time.
All information provided during class is for educational purposes only and should not be considered as a recommendation or an endorsement of any particular medical or health treatment. It is Bohème Botanika policy not to advise or recommend herbs for medicinal or health use.
COVID-19 Policies:
Because classes will be held in my own home and winter seems to exacerbate COVID-19 cases along with other colds, flus and viruses, I ask that all students take any precautions necessary before and after class, including masking, frequent hand washing and social distancing in order to keep our communities safe. I will not be requiring mask wearing during class at this time but will update policies and implement safety protocols as needed over the course of our time together to ensure all of our safety. I strongly encourage rapid testing before classes and ask that if you do have any cold or flu symptoms you stay home.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
At this time I am unable to offer refunds for any reason. In the case that I need to cancel a class due to severe weather, we will makeup the missed class on the rain date. If the course is cancelled due to lack of sign ups you will have the option to roll your tuition into another course or receive a full refund. Because we will be meeting in the winter when weather is unpredictable and illnesses are at their peak, I ask that you consider your own health and transportation needs before registering as I will not be able to offer refunds for missed classes for any reason.
