Herbal Tincture Simples
Simples are tinctures prepared with just one herb. The herbs used to create Boheme Botanika tinctures are grown organically or ethically wild foraged and harvested at their peak. Herbs are then infused according to their properties in either 80 or 100 Proof alcohol to extract their beneficial constituents using a simple, folkloric preparation method. Herbs infuse for at least one moon cycle before being strained, pressed and bottled.
The finished herbal extract is called a simple tincture and can be taken internally as is or added to tea or water. Depending on the herb, some tinctures may be used topically in wound care or linaments or as additives to skin and hair care or as part of larger topical or internal formulas.
Each herb carries its own unique benefits and essence. Suggested dosage and directions for use specific to each herb will be displayed on the bottle.
Simples are available for purchase to experienced herbal practitioners, current Boheme Botanika students, clients and customers with an understanding of using tinctures.
